The North East of Scotland Christian Youth Camp (NECYC) has been running every year since 1952.

Its purpose remains the same to this day: to provide good value, fun-filled holidays for young people in a safe Christian environment.

We will be running four camps as normal. Senior Weekend Camp in February for young people in S1-S6, Junior Weekend Camp in May for those in P4-P7, then week long Senior and Junior Summer Camps. All meals are include in the price as well as transportation from Aberdeen or Peterhead.

The venue for the camps is Faskally House, just north of Pitlochry.  Faskally House is a traditional Scottish mansion house on the east side of Loch Faskally.  It has been used for various purposes over the years, but is now used as a Christian Outdoor Centre.

Every day is filled with activities and competitions where campers work and play together in their mixed teams. Some of the most popular activities include football, bucketball, lost leaders, crafts and it’s a knock out.

Day trips are always eagerly anticipated and may include a trip to Go Karting, Landmark Forest Adventure Park or Blair Drummond Safari Park. Faskally House has its own full size games hall as well as table tennis, pool, air hockey and table football. The camp also runs a tuck shop and bookshop.

Each morning and evening there are group sessions, which feature Bible stories, singing and quizzes. Camp usually ends with a much anticipated award ceremony on the last night.

Each camp is supervised by a team of leaders who have been assessed for their suitability through our strict recruitment criteria. All leaders have references taken, are Disclosure checked, and follow our clear Leaders Handbook and Child Protection Policy.

We have 60 campers’ places available for each camp.  If you wish to book a place at a camp, please send us your application and camp fee as soon as possible to be sure of a place.
